Interesting. Resembles Frazer Vagabond a lot but suicide rear doors make it even more useful.
Vagabond was offered first time as MY '51.

Yes, they're very similar. The Abeille was intended as a basic but useful variation of the Vedette for farmers and so on. Note that the rear side windows have been replaced by panels.

Abeille seemed to lack the rear side windows but it seems that many restored one have had them opened. It looks a bit weird without the windows.

It's hard to distinguish between an ordinary Vedette and an Abeille though. Maybe owners have been upgrading their Abeilles to Vedette spec by putting in windows.
